Member Background

The owners of the company Dries Schoeman and Barry Wood are seasoned professionals with a successful track record in Maintenance Management Systems. They founded their existing company Mainguard Technologies in 1994 and today the company has an established and extensive client base all over the African Continent. Over the years they have proved to be a role player that you can trust.

Maintenance Connection Africa provides a quantum leap in new internet based technology products for both existing and new clients.

Current Services

Maintenance Connection Africa currently has three offices in Africa. The Durban head office offers all general management, marketing and software development as well as sales, installation and support for the African and South African market. All custom programming, data migration and integration is also offered out of the Durban office.

The Port Elizabeth office offers sales, installation and support for the Coastal region. The Pretoria office offers sales, installation and support for Internal region. Maintenance Connection Africa realizes the importance of proper installation and training on a new system, and therefore ensures that the support personnel are experienced and properly trained to effectively offer our clients a valuable resource. Not only are our support people properly versed in computer technology, they also have experience in professional training and industry related functions which allows them to truly understand the needs and challenges faced by our clients. Many situations require the ability to migrate existing electronic records or the facility to provide interoperability of Maintenance Connection© with existing systems.

These services are provided directly by Maintenance Connection Africa staff or by competent outside contractors. As well, Maintenance Connection Africa can also offer customization and full development services to their clients where required.
